The region offers variuos experiences on water, on land and in the sky. The Sommerrodelbahn (summer`s toboggan-run) in Eckartsberga is fun for the whole family.
The `Blütengrund` in Naumburg is a paradise for watersports as well as fishing and camping. Many sports clubs in the region offer sports like canoeing, tennis, riding, shooting and gliding for tourists. Do not forget the industrial tourism in Zeitz and Weißenfels. Zeitz has got the oldest briquette factory in the world, the so called `Hermannsschacht` - a museum in the area of the town which shows many interesting antiquities of the mining and industrial history.

Recently the region got famous by the sensational find of the `Himmelsscheibe von Nebra`.
Interested visitors can have a look at the place at the Mittelberg where it was found and where still are excavations with a guide. But even guests who search for relaxation find rest, thanks to the cure towns of the so called Bäderdreieck Bad Sulza, Bad Kösen and Bad Bibra.
Here you can go hiking, take a bath in the `Liquid Sound` and have a look at the salt water technical system. And after many hours full of experiences you can drink to someones health with a glass of wine.
