The cinema film "Alfons Zitterbacke - Endlich Klassenfahrt" was filmed in Ostrau Castle in 2021. Now it is possible to experience the former film location Ostrau as in the film and relive the filming using augmented reality. Even an encounter with Alfons Zitterbacke awaits - not in person, of course, but still just as entertaining.

At Ostrava The task is to save the class trip together with Alfons Zitterbacke. But it's not easy, because everyone needs help urgently, especially Alfons. It's supposed to be the end of the school trip for the most unlucky boy of all time. To help him, a mission must be accomplished. But how does it work? Don't worry, it's child's play.
Complete the mission at the Ostrava filming location
Various digital stations show the way through the mission. Those who complete all the digital stations not only visit the Ostrava film set, but also delve deep into the world of the film. Original scenes from the film play just as big a role as the sets and props. There is a quiz, a sound game as well as some puzzles and tasks and, at the end, reward points for each completed mission part.
The special souvenir photo
Something also went wrong on the included photo tour. In souvenir photos, some of the actors have disappeared and now they have to be replaced - by the mission participants. So take a selfie and fill the gap. This creates an impressive memento that may be saved and happily shared.
The selection of different experiences on location in Ostrava really makes the mission fun for the whole family.
Spring tip
The time of the Winter Lilies, which usually blossom from February to March, is a particularly beautiful time to visit the filming location Ostrava. Not only that a sea of yellow blossoms populate the castle park almost like a fairytale. No, the Schloss Ostrau e.V. association always invites visitors to the "Winterling Days" at the weekends. Various programme highlights attract visitors.
