There are now more parking spaces for travellers with bicycles

During the peak travel season in the Saale-Unstrut region, most guests travel by bicycle. From spring to autumn, visitors to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Naumburg Cathedral increasingly by bicycle . The United Cathedral Founders have reactivated their old bicycle parking lot especially for this purpose, which was built for the National Exhibition 2011. Thus the visitors of the cathedral can park their bicycles safely. There the bikes can be safely connected and nobody has to lean them against the historical walls of the cathedral. The latter can cause serious damage to the walls. The bicycle parking, where there is room for 17 bicycles, is located below the cathedral, in the direction of Freyburger Straße.

The bicycle stands can be used free of charge during the regular opening hours of Naumburg Cathedral:
March to October
Monday to Saturday 9.00-18.00
Sunday/church holidays 11.00-18.00
November to February
Monday to Saturday 10.00-16.00
Sunday/church holidays 12.00-16.00
The United Cathedral Foundations assume no liability for the parked bicycles.
