The Enclosure of Goseck is the earliest archaeological evidence of systematic sky observations.

The impressive monument with a diameter of about 70 m was fully excavated and reconstructed at the original place according to the excavation results. Like 7.000 years before, when the facility was erected by stone age farmers, the path of the sun can be observed today again in the facility.
The special acoustics inside the facility leaves a lasting impression on the visitors apart from the optical effect of the stone age shrine.
