Brine for health
Where salt was once extracted, today you are doing something for the Health. On top of that, it is a spectacular building. At the Louise graduation house, you can sniff the healing brine air along the 142-metre-long blackthorn wall and immerse yourself in the salt mist of the atomiser hall.
If you haven't tried it yet, it's a real experience! It smells... it tastes... it feels... like being by the sea. And when you enter the atomiser hall, it seems as if everything disappears in the brine mist, so densely do the salty droplets line up.
The brine is said to have a health-promoting effect that helps with respiratory and a variety of other illnesses.
For cycling enthusiasts in particular, however, the graduation house is also suitable as a relaxing stopover on the Ilmtal cycle path.
It leads directly past the graduation house.
