Description:
"Altes Salzamt" with exposed vault and stone oven from the 15th century.
The comprehensive renovation of what is probably the oldest building in Bad Dürrenberg was completed in 2015. The "Altes Salzamt" hostel is located on the completed upper floors. The lower floors will again be used as a registry office after the construction work is completed. During the renovation work, old and partly unknown parts of the building were uncovered, including a well-preserved stone baking oven.
