Camburg Castle towers high above the town of the same name.
Today, only parts of the castle complex have been preserved. The impressive 37-metre-high "keep" tower and the remains of the enclosing wall of the former castle complex from the 12th century are the most striking remains. When visiting the tower you will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view. The view reaches as far as the Thuringian Forest.
