The German Chemistry Museum Merseburg (dchm) is unique in Europe, if not in the world.

It integrates the features of a science centre, a museum and a collection of original plants and apparatus of the chemical industry of the 20th century in a technology park.
Since 1993, the dchm has been in the process of being set up and continuously developed.
Since 1996, the Science Center has been running the student projects "Hands-on Chemistry" and "Understanding Technology" together with the University of Applied Sciences

Since 1996, the Science Center has been implementing the student projects "Hands-on Chemistry" and "Understanding Technology" together with the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences (HS). These projects are currently the second pillar of the dchm, alongside the Technology Park.
