The significant and exceptionally beautiful "Gothic House" was built in 1493.

It has been in a state of almost untouched slumber for centuries. It has a fascinating aura and lets the viewer feel the breath of the Middle Ages.

Today the Gothic House is the seat of the "Centre for Early Music", an institution which organises concerts, courses and festivals of music from various historical periods with artists of international standing and is engaged in research work on music history and historical instrument making.

The Gothic House offers the perfect ambience for concerts, courses, exhibitions, festivals and children's programmes, which deal with music and dance from the Middle Ages to the Baroque.
