Our main focus is on breeding and keeping native wild and domestic animals such as lynxes, foxes, horses and sheep, but also storks and many other species. In addition, you can see and observe a number of particularly popular animals, such as the rare polar wolves. We especially recommend the porcupine enclosure - you have certainly never been this close to a porcupine before - and the spacious walk-in Australia enclosure, where parakeets and parma kangaroos can be seen up close. The zoo is designed to be extremely family-friendly. Animals can be touched and fed - at least as far as it is possible. For animal welfare reasons, food is only available at the cash desk or at the feeders.
By the way, it is also possible to take over sponsorships for animals or to participate in exciting feeding rounds through the Petersberg Zoo.
