Did you know?
The Droyssig Railway is the starting point of the Bärentatzenweg, a reminiscence of the former railway line Zeitz-Camburg. The installation was created by the visual artist Roland Lindner.
More than 70 bear paws were laid in Droyßig and lead to the various stops of the audio guide. Especially the children have fun with the animal guided tour! The audio guide can be accessed by mobile phone, is acoustically illustrated and was recorded by CJD high school students, because Droyßig is also a school location.
Luise Tyralla and Hannes Schützhold have recorded the English version of the audio guide.
Apart from the castle, the Droyssig Institutions have had a major historical influence on the town. They stand for 170 years of higher education. Once the first teachers of Prussia were trained here.
Of course it will also be clarified where the Bärentatzenweg got its name from. Droyßig has a long bear tradition, including the fleeting bear Sultan. He succeeded in exploring his home town twice.
Over 50 citizens and entrepreneurs have made the Droyßiger Bärentatzenweg possible. Sponsoring, service, honorary office. Pastor Christoph Roßdeutscher explains the special features of the Droyßiger Sauer organ on the audio guide, and of course he lets it sound.
Droyßig is much more than just a castle and Templar myth! Visit us and follow the bear paws on historical paths.
Live democracy! The Droyßiger Bärentatzenweg was supported by the federal program "Living democracy!
