Extended Tour Description:
Walking, looking, praying, coming to rest - this is what the Luther Trail invites you to do. With a total length of almost 3,000 km, it stretches across the five federal states of Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Thuringia, Bavaria and Hesse.
Record the stations visited on the Luther Trail in the form of pilgrimage stamps in your pilgrim passport and conclude a day full of impressions and inner contemplation with the pilgrim blessing in contemplative silence. Pilgrim's passport and pilgrim's blessing are available for a fee from the German Luther Trail Society.
The Luther Ways of all five federal states form a common network of paths, which also leads through Saale-Unstrut. Start and end of a pilgrimage section can be chosen individually.
Extensive brochures and maps of the Luther Trail in Saxony-Anhalt and the neighbouring federal states are available for a fee from the German Luther Trail Society.
