From station 28 Querfurt the path leads to station 32 Eckartsberga.

Of the 32 stations in total, the path leads through Saale-Unstrut from Querfurt to Eckartsberga.

Querfurt
You walk through the Gatterstädter Weg, which you follow until you reach Loderslebener Str., here you turn left, cross the railway tracks and then take the part of the road that leads diagonally down on the right. After approx. 50m you use the stairs leading down on the left to reach the castle gardens. Opposite the car park begins the Brunnenstr., which you continue to walk until the Burgstr. flows into the left, which leads you into the castle grounds. To leave, use the southern gate in the castle grounds and you will come to the castle ring, which you follow to the right and then turn left into the farming settlement. At the crossing with the Nebraer Weg turn left, leave the village and follow the field path to the main road. Be careful when crossing the road. Exactly on the other side the field path continues and runs dead straight through the farmland. It then turns slightly to the right and leads downhill through the shell limestone rocks. Every possible area here is covered with vines. Once you have reached the valley floor, take the second path that turns left and follow it through all the bends and turns until you reach the Steigra shooting range. Here you turn left and go up the steep path. You come to the street on the mountain slope and turn right until you reach the street "An der Litzke", here you turn off, walk across the map until you reach the main street, turn left until you reach the main road. At the traffic lights cross the road, walk past the cemetery and the cattle stables to the main road, turn right to proceed to the road. Here you have to go past the old transformer house and turn left along the street trees until you reach the village Kalzendorf. Where the road makes a bend to the left, the street "Siedlung" turns off to the right. Behind the settlement, a field path turns off to the right, on which you continue via the tunnel entrance of the DB line until you reach the junction with another field path. Follow this to the left until you reach Schnellroda.

Continue along the road on the opposite side of the road to the end of the village and then turn into the right field path. After approx. 600m follow the path with fruit trees to the left and after another 500m the field path to the forest area turns off to the right. Circle the forest area, always staying on the path. Where the field ends, you enter the forest, after about 100m the path turns left. You are now in the nature reserve and follow the well-signposted path, where the area is described on several information boards. After leaving the forest, follow the road and you will come to a spider, turn right to get to the Kirchweg and then to the Apostelstraße, which you follow to the left until you reach the Sankt Michelner Str. Here you turn left into the Topfmarkt and follow the Oberstraße to the church St.Jakobi in Mücheln. Via Kirchberg you will reach Rudolf-Breitscheidt-Str., which you follow to the left to Obere Freyburger Str., where you turn right.

The Gröster Straße enters on the left side, you follow it until you reach the outer Gröster Str, which then leads into the dirt road, where you continue south. After two bends, the concrete track runs to the left, but you continue straight ahead along the field path. At the next crossroads, our field path continues to the right, you can already see the next piece of woodland, then the path goes downhill a little, where on the right side there are individual weekend houses, the path turns left, past these plots of land, you cross the stream and stand on Dorfstr. The village of Branderoda begins on the right. Opposite the village the path goes uphill again in the forest, through small sunken paths we reach the field path to the south. Here marked with a red cross. You will reach a newly constructed field path, which leads to the federal highway. Caution! Opposite is the entrance of Zeuchfeld .

You walk the Dorfstr. always straight ahead through the whole village. At the end of the village, the road is slightly uphill, halfway up a field path branches off to the right, which you take and then turn left at the edge of the forest until you reach the main path. Here the Via Regia comes from the east. At the refuge with the Napoleon's Oak, turn right into the forest. Continue along the cave path, cross the bypass and continue along the edge of the forest until you reach the avenue of linden trees. Continue straight on until you reach the hotel "Edelacker" at the vineyards down to the Schützenstr. You turn left and, with the church already in view, you reach the Kirchstr. Turning right you come to the church St. Marien in Freyburg/Unstrut.

From the market through Marienstr. then left into Wasserstr. Before the Unstrut bridge turn left into Mühlstr. and continue through the Ehrauberge below the Neuenburg Castle until you reach the B180 bypass. Shortly before turning right along the field path, you pass under the road and arrive in Großjena. Turn right into the street "Am Sportplatz" up to Wasserstr. Turn right and then continue in Blütengrund until you reach the Saalefähre, which will take you to Naumburg. Continue past the campsite until you reach the field path which turns left. After 150 m turn right until the next street to the left until you reach the railway, then turn right and then left through the tunnel to Auenblick. Turn left until Humboldt-Str. Continue crossing Jägerstr. into Thomas-Müntzer-Str. until you reach the roundabout Marientor. Then turn into Marienstr. until you reach the market place. Around the market square into Rittergasse via Reußenplatz, crossing the Lindenring, through Othmarsweg to Steinweg, then turn left into Domplatz. From Domplatz turn right into Georgenstr., then left at Georgentor and right through Bauernweg to the roundabout. Then turn right into Roßbachstr. (B180) and continue over the railway tracks and Saale. Next possible turn left under the railway and you will reach Roßbach. Follow Dr.-Friedrich-Röhr-Str. until you reach the Trift, which turns left and which you follow into the open countryside.

From Roßbach you walk straight ahead along the field path, do not turn off! Passing the radio tower you will pass through the Schenkenholz, cross the country road to Fränkenau and arrive in Punschrau. Passing the village you will reach the district road to Hassenhausen after about 400 m. You turn right and 300 m further left into the road to Spielberg, the General-Blücher-Weg. Staying on the main road, cross the village and after approx. 1 km you will reach Zäckwar. The Dorfstr. turns left and leads through the village. Over the field you reach Benndorf. Coming from Benndorf, go straight on and turn right at the next junction towards Lissdorf. At the entrance of the village turn left to cross the village on the Hauptstr. At the end of the village you are on the road to Eckartsberga. Watch out! You come to the federal road B250 and turn right. After approx. 50 m, a street called "An der Kahre" turns off to the left, which you follow immediately turning left again until you reach Gartenstr. Crossing Marienthaler Str. you reach Kirchberg opposite.

This is where the St.Jakobusweg Saxony-Anhalt ends. From Eckartsberga, you go via Mallendorf and Seena to the Thuringian state border.
