As part of the 17th International Women in Jazz Festival, the organisers invite you to linger and relax in the green oasis on Saturday, 14 May from 2 pm. The jazz picnic will be accompanied by enchanting songs by a singer who will be exploring the origins of her music.
The castle garden in Merseburg as a green lounge flanked by historic buildings - is there a better place for a picnic?! As part of the 17th International Women in Jazz Festival, the organisers invite you to linger and relax in the green oasis on Saturday, 14 May from 2 pm. The jazz picnic will be accompanied by enchanting songs by a singer who is committed to the origins of her Argentinian roots. Lily Dahab has been nominated for jazz and world music awards for her album NOMADE and has been invited to various festival stages. In addition to Lily Dahab, the artists of the Jazz Big Band Merseburg will show their skills and provide an atmospheric start from 15:00.
Admission to the Jazz Picnic is free of charge. Visitors are asked to bring their own picnic blankets. Food and drink will be provided and the little guests will also get their money's worth with a carousel ride.
