Go on a journey through time from 17 to 19 June 2022 and experience an incomparable stage spectacle with the who's who of medieval rock in Merseburg's castle garden alongside a medicinal herb and history market. In addition to the rocking sounds of Schandmaul, Tanzwut and many more, gentle melodies and enchanting symphonies also resound from the cathedral, town church and castle garden on the occasion of the opening concerts of the MDR Music Summer. This year the traditional parade is themed "Basedow and his entourage" and takes you back to times long past.
