Merseburg Cathedral has been the scene of decisive political, social and art-historical developments since the High Middle Ages and today invites visitors on an enchanting journey from the Romanesque to the Baroque and Romantic periods. In addition to the cathedral, you can therefore also visit the chapter house, the chapter house garden and the manuscript vault with the legendary Merseburg magic spells. We offer daily guided tours of the cathedral and regularly take you up to the towers or down into the atmospheric princely crypt.
