Full Moon Night in the Civic Garden

On 16.05.2022, the sun, earth and moon are once again aligned, it is full moon. On this day, the Tourist Information invites you to the first "Full Moon Night in the Bürgergarten". The evening tour with tour guide Dieter Schröder starts at 7:30 pm at the Vogelwiese and leads through the villa district to the Rose Garden.
 
The civic garden was handed over to the citizens of Naumburg on 5 February 1796. At that time, it was announced that the garden "would be useful to everyone and could be a source of pleasure". From 1845 onwards, the Naumburg Beautification Society took care of the civic garden. The park was considerably extended and redesigned in the following years. The Bürgergarten with its rose garden and rock garden are popular places for excursions and rest. During the 1.5-hour full moon guided tour, Dieter Schröder will not only talk about the history of the park with its monuments and special features, the focus will also be on the full moon and the stars.
 
Further guided tours will take place on: 13.07.2022, 12.08.2022, 10.09.2022 and 09.10.2022 each at 19:30. The tour starts at the snack bar, Vogelwiese car park. Tickets at a price of € 11.50 are available in advance at the Tourist Information Offices in Naumburg and Bad Kösen or on site.
