Coronavirus
in Saale-Unstrut

Here you will find the most important information about the current situation around COVID-19.

Anticipation is the most beautiful joy!

Dear guests and visitors,

in Saale-Unstrut, numerous measures were taken to contain and slow down the spread of the virus. We recommend that you follow the hygiene measures.

Eleventh Ordinance on measures to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Saxony-Anhalt of 19 April 2021

The central change is the introduction of compulsory testing at schools. Due to the continuing high incidence of infection and the high prevalence of virus mutations, no further opening steps are envisaged in the Amendment Ordinance.
Beginning April 19, students and school personnel will not be allowed to enter school grounds unless they take a SARS-CoV-2 self-test under supervision two days a week before school begins and have a negative
test result. Testing by means of a self-test may also be replaced by a certificate with a negative result of a PCR test or a PoC antigen test, which must not be older than 24 hours. Persons who have already been fully vaccinated against the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 are exempt from the testing requirement. According to the recommendation of the Standing Commission on Vaccination, complete vaccination protection exists after 14 days following the second vaccination. In special individual cases, persons may be exempted from compulsory testing if testing is not possible for medical reasons.

Due to the continuing high incidence of infection and the high prevalence of viral mutations, the
Cabinet agreed not to approve any new model projects for the time being. Already approved and started
Model projects can be continued.

The amending ordinance is effective until May 9, 2021.
