If you explore the area by bike or on hiking boots, you will surely come across an open ostrich farm. Here you can enjoy homemade food and the farm's own wine. In general, you will find a cosy outdoor spot in almost every corner of the summer region to sit on the terrace or in the garden of one of the many pubs and restaurants.
Inspiration
Fresh products from the region guarantee you lasting enjoyment. Because the soils of the Saale-Unstrut region also provide for a rich vegetable and fruit cultivation. In addition to game dishes and fish specialities from local waters, the gastronomy of Saale-Unstrut is inspired by the cuisine of Thuringia as well as traditional dishes from Saxony-Anhalt.
