Arrived in Naumburg, the UNESCO World Heritage Naumburg Cathedral "St. Peter and Paul", with its towers visible from afar, awaits you for a public guided tour. After the guided tour you can linger individually in the cathedral treasure and cathedral garden. Afterwards you can go for a stroll through the historical city centre of Naumburg. Passing historic town houses and unique buildings you will also see one of the most beautiful market places in Central Germany. You are welcome to join one of the numerous public guided tours of the city. If the times are not convenient, the Tourist Information also provides audio guides.

Strengthened after a meal or a freshly roasted coffee, the former Cistercian monastery Schulpforta, 3 km SW (founded 1137), awaits you. Be curious about the Gothic monastery church, the Romanesque cloister, a late Romanesque chapel and the historic cemetery.

Romanesque house Bad Kösen
Later, the path leads you 4 km further to Bad Kösen to the Romanesque House. Built of shell limestone, it has a varied history from 1175 to the present day. For many years it has been a museum on the history of Bad Kösen. It also houses an exhibition of the famous doll designer Käthe Kruse. Themes and art exhibitions round off the range of exhibits.
