In the picturesque village of Auerstedt, dreamy natural idyll, culinary finesse and cultural discoveries enter into a charming liaison. The Hotel Resort Schloss Auerstedt ensures stays between historical significance and relaxing ambience - a dreamlike combination.

When in autumn 1806 the Napoleonic troops under Marshal Davout defeated Saxony and Prussia in the double battle near Jena and Auerstedt, Auerstedt Castle was the headquarters of the commander of the Prussians. Today the walls of the castle house the various buildings of the resort.

In the spacious courtyard of the former manor house, apartments, maisonettes and holiday homes have been created with a great deal of architectural flair, which surprise with a clear and modern ambience. The various accommodation options offer the right thing for the most diverse occasions: whether alone, as a couple or with the family, whether on holiday or for a meeting with business partners.

The heart of the complex is the imposing main building, which is home to the restaurant "Reinhardt's im Schloss". There the team around host couple Kati and Frank Reinhardt serve culinary creations between tradition and trends, without losing sight of the essentials: good dishes that convince with their uncomplicated character. Anyone who makes themselves comfortable on the terrace in the warm summer months with good food and a glass of regional wine and feels the balmy wind on their skin will soon fall in love with the special character of this gem.

When strolling through the spacious grounds of the castle courtyard, the eye quickly catches a very special building: the "Maloca", built in the style of a Brazilian longhouse, has become a popular venue for conferences, concerts and weddings. In addition to the "Maloca", the rooms in the castle offer the perfect setting for closed meetings in an intimate atmosphere and inspiring surroundings.
