1st Zeitz Literature Day
In order to sustainably consolidate the success of the 30th State Literature Days, the "Zeitz Literature Day" will be held for the first time on 9 June 2022 in the name of the Zeitz Library Initiative and under the organisational management of the Vereinigte Domstifter.

9.30 a.m. - Kick-off: Literary morning walk through Zeitz with Albrecht Franke: "Christa Johannsen. An Invented Life" (meeting point: Zeitz Franciscan Monastery, Brüderstraße).
Morning readings for children and young people
9.00 am - "Kaffeemann und Naschmadame" Reading with Thomas Leibe (Stadtbibliothek "Martin Luther" Zeitz)
10.00 a.m. - "In heaven above nose monkeys" Reading to listen, look and join in with Danilo Pockrandt (Zeitz Abbey Library)
19.00 - Conclusion: Prof. Dr. Michael Göring reads from his new novel "Dresden" in the Festsaal of Schloss Moritzburg Zeitz
